Overview

The general Worldview of any Spiritual learning begins with energy and the responsible use of that energy. At our Learning Center, we plan to focus on the various aspects of how this energy is translated into healing. Our Western society is faced with many problems that we can directly relate to stress, poor eating habit and a lack of body/mind connections.

Singing Mouse is a learning center that will allow anyone the ability to understand the inter-relationship between the energy forces in the universe that affect our daily lives. It is our hope that we will be able to become an active focal point for many individuals and groups from the Midwest and beyond.

Purpose

Our initial group will train a core of individuals to share what Shamanistic teaching is about. “Shamans are spiritually developed men and women who recognize that life is in all things, who are able to work with cosmic and natural forces and to experience different levels of awareness from physical reality.” (The Medicine Way by Kenneth Meadows)

Goals

Singing Mouse Shamanic Learning Center, (SMSLC), will use a variety of teaching techniques to give students a structured learning environment while remaining flexible to practical learning. It is our hope that from this core of students, we will be able to train new teachers and thus supply the demand for the next group of students.
